If you haven’t had a look at the New Henry Chalfant website you should definitely check it out. Henry is one of the most important photographers to document the history of New York Graffiti through photography, from its early beginnings in the 70’s, through to the peak of the train era in the early 80’s. He became known for his ability to capture running panels, window downs and whole cars through his use of join up photographs, which were famously shown in his book the graffiti bible “Subway Art” and later “Spraycan Art” . He is also a documentary maker and the producer to the 1984 movie “Style Wars” along with Tony Silver.
